Design Features

Modular, Flexible and Configurable

  • Three weigh frame sizes can be combined in multiple configurations to achieve
    required production requirements.
  • Fours standard hopper sizes, allowing multiple hopper configurations
  • Fully configurable sequential discharge options controlled by batch computer
  • Three different diameter feedpipes to ensure optimal rate of supply for low and high-
    volume admixtures.
  • Two different ball valve sizes to assist in regulating discharge rates
  • Scales can be reconfigured if production requirements change.

Weighing Accuracy is achieved by

  • Ensuring that feed and discharge pipes do not come into contact with weighing
    mechanism
  • The use of triple S-Type loadcells on each scale.
  • Auto scale checking on all weigh frames, allows accuracy of scales to be checked and
    verified within a few seconds from the batch panel.
  • Scale is:
  • Isolated from vibration by high quality Alpha Gel vibration dampening mounts
  • Shielded from effects of wind by enclosure panels

  • All components which come into contact with admixtures are food grade stainless

  • Composite aluminium covers
  • All other components are aluminium
  • Supplied as standard with pneumatic self-draining filters and regulators, and water
    filter to ensure system operates reliably.
  • Quick coupling compressed air and water connectors to allow scale to be easily
    cleaned
  • Our products are in operation in numerous small, medium and large concrete plants
    across Australia

Safety Features

  • Pneumatic and water lockout valves allow system to be isolated and for units to be
    worked on safely.
  • All discharge valves are fitted with dual position proximity switches linked to batch
    computer; these ensure that admixtures can only be batched when all ball valves are
    closed.
  • Automatic flushing after each batch ensures hoppers remain clean and eliminate the
    risk of contamination.

Product Support

  • Frames, hoppers, funnels, feedpipes are designed and manufactured from highly
    durable materials and are not expected to fail
  • Parts that could be subject to wear and may require replacement in time are either:
  • Are held in stock by Kanamac
  • Held in stock by reputable suppliers e.g. SMC Pneumatics, Festo, etc. and are
    available at short notice from numerous locations throughout Australia
