One of the services that might be covered under NDIS is Craniosacral Therapy (CST). As a registered Craniosacral therapist, I provide treatments that may be eligible for NDIS funding under specific conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-when-will-ndis-cover-craniosacral-therapy\">When Will NDIS Cover Craniosacral Therapy?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It must be proven that the therapy will help you achieve your goals related to your disability. The therapy needs to be deemed &#8220;reasonable and necessary.&#8221; This means it should:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Relate directly to your disability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide clear benefits to your health and well-being.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not be something that could be funded by other services, like the healthcare system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on my understanding of NDIS rules and my experience with clients who get coverage, the treatments I provide can be considered for funding if they meet these criteria. To build a strong case, you may need to book one or two sessions that you pay for yourself. These initial sessions can help demonstrate the benefits of Craniosacral Therapy within the NDIS framework, making it more likely for NDIS to cover future treatments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-apply-for-coverage\">How to Apply for Coverage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you feel that Craniosacral Therapy is beneficial for you, talk to your NDIS planner or support coordinator. They can guide you through the process of applying for NDIS and Craniosacral Therapy to be included in your plan. You may also need to provide reports from your therapist or doctor supporting your request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In summary, while NDIS might not automatically cover Craniosacral Therapy, with the right approach and evidence, it is possible to get financial support for this therapeutic treatment, especially when working with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biodynamic-craniosacral.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a registered therapist<\/a> like myself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hope this post has given you an insight about the possibility of financial support from NDIS for healing modalities like for example CST.
